Any student who needs to purchase a new ID to replace a lost one should report to Mrs. Sliker in the principal’s office. They will receive their new ID in the period 1 class.
All students must wear their IDs throughout the school day including the halls and cafeteria. Failure to do so subjects a student to disciplinary action
The Passaic Valley Writing Lab is open. If you need help with any written assignment in any of your classes, come down to Room 012 right outside the Café during your lunch period to have one of our student tutors help you with your assignment.
Attention seniors, the sale for the shop with script gift cards is ongoing for the class of 2017. Purchase them online and a percent of the proceeds goes towards any event/apparel. See Mr. Haimowitz for more info.
Help PV GO GREEN! The PV Environmental Club is selling reusable, aluminum water bottles. The cost is $10 each, and all proceeds will go towards making PV a greener place for us all. See Mr. Goodman, in room 108 or Mr. Sanders, in room 209 to purchase your bottle. Quantities are limited so get yours today!
Guidance counselors have begun the course selection process for 2017-2018 school year. Please check your PV email and fill out your course selection sheet and return to your counselor. The Program of studies can be found on the PV website under Academics. Take time in picking your electives and make sure you select multiple back ups. Any questions, please contact your Guidance Counselor.
Attention All Juniors. The New Jersey National College Fair will be taking place on Wednesday April 26 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meadowlands Exposition Center at Harmon Meadow in Secaucus. You will be able to speak directly with representatives from several hundred colleges and universities. Permission slips have been emailed to you through your Naviance account. Please hand these slips to Mrs. Jarjoura in guidance ASAP.
There will be an Environmental Club meeting on Monday, April 3 in room 108 at 2:40. If you have any questions please see Mr. Goodman or Mr. Sanders. New members are always welcome.
Spirit Day is scheduled for tomorrow, March 31. Wear PV apparel to show your PV Pride.

Congratulations to the following students for taking 1st Place in the Chemagination contest.
Catherine Fergesen, Bushra Choudury and Raisa Islam for their Presentation Neurobots. Lauren Hamilton and Christina Folan for their project: Cabon Pens. These teams are now eligible to compete in the MidAtlantic Regional Competition on June 4th in Hershey, PA. A great presentation was given by all 4 of our teams who competed against the Bergen County Academies and River Dell High School.
