Passaic Valley recently welcomed Mr. Jason Tiseo to its staff as new Special Education Teacher and Interim Head Baseball Coach. Administration, students, and staff are thrilled to have his experience both in front of the classroom and on the diamond.

Mr. Tiseo previously taught at Bloomfield Middle School for sixteen years, teaching Special Education, Mr.Tiseo; Property of Devyn DiPasquale History, and Geography to seventh and eighth graders. In addition to being an educator, Mr. Tiseo also has a copious amount of experience coaching. He has coached at Bloomfield High School for three years, Glen Ridge High School for two years, West Orange High School for twelve years, and at William Paterson University for one year.

Regarding the upcoming baseball season, Mr. Tiseo says he's most excited for “the opportunity to work with all of the players and to have the chance to create memories with Mr. Tiseo; Property of Devyn DiPasquale each of them.”

He hopes to have a successful season with the Hornets and is looking to earn a county title with the team. “I’m looking forward to making the team more of a family where we’re playing for each other and everybody has each others’ backs”, says Tiseo. He wishes to instill the mindset into his players that they must “do anything it takes for the team to win, not for the individual to succeed.”

Given his amount of experience in both teaching and coaching, Mr. Tiseo will without a doubt have a positive impact on both his students and the athletics program.
