Honoring Life-Long Educator Mr. Anthony Ottino

Life-long educator and indelible member of the Passaic Valley community Mr. Anthony Ottino passed away on July 14. Mr. Ottino imparted his knowledge and compassion on countless students and colleagues over his 47-year career. The thoughts of the Hornet family are with Mr. Ottino's family during this difficult time.Mr. Anthony Ottino

Mr. Ottino began teaching secondary school mathematics and coaching wrestling in Teaneck for eight years. For 25 years, Mr. Ottino worked for IBM, holding positions in IT, corporate management, and instruction. For the final 14 years of his career, Mr. Ottino taught financial literacy, mathematics, and coached Varsity Tennis at Passaic Valley High School. He retired on October 1st, 2019.

To honor Mr. Ottino's memory, his son, Mr. Brad Ottino, and family ask for donations made in Mr. Ottino's name to LIVESTRONG at the Madison Area YMCA. Further instruction on how to do so can be found on his obituary, here.
