The School Based Youth Service Program, called the “Teen Center”, at Passaic Valley High School is a partnership with the New Jersey Community Development Corporation and funded by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families.

The main goal of this award- winning initiative is simple: help students reach their full potential in order to succeed in high school and beyond. The Teen Center offers a wide range of activities and resources related to leadership development, skill building, counseling, tutoring, recreation, and health and wellness services. Participation in our program is voluntary and completely free. We are located right inside the school itself, and are open every day during the lunch periods and after school until 5:00 pm. We are also open over the summer and during PV school closings.

In order for your student to take part in our program, a parent or guardian must sign the consent form and return it to the Teen Center. Our program staff is available from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm to provide you with additional information or answer any questions you may have. You can reach us at 973-890-2550.

The Teen Center staff looks forward to working with you and your student during the school year!
